Today was a great day for Dawnya. I had my first taste of Gelato! Oh my God, it was so good. My favorie flavor is frutti de bosco. Yummy. Our first stop was in the hill town of San Gimignano.I had fun watching toddlers feeding pigeons and a dove while I enjoyed my second gelato. I explored back roads and had a conversation with an older Italian gentleman about where I live in the United States, St. George, Utah. He spoke great english.

Christoph played the "Mission Impossible" theme song as Ronnie navigated his way onto the road into Villa Il Crocchio. We burst out laughing, so funny! The Villa is a lovely old place with a pool, bar, vineyards and horses. We had a winetasting out by the pool at sunset.
Under the Tuscan Sun, Dawnya style. I will have many beautiful memories of this place. It is so easy to love it here. Who knew there were so many kinds of olives? Yum. I wonder if I can find Gelato in Idaho or Utah?
