Rome, Italy

It is hard to describe how it feels to be in Rome. Organized Chaos? I loved it and that is odd because I don't like big cites. Everywhere you look there are monuments to human acheivement. The Collessem, Pantheon, Forum, Vatican and St. Peters Basilica are a few examples of what humans can accomplish when they set their minds to it. Our Rome guide, Francesca Caruso was incredible. I think she could have made even my 15 year old son interested in history! Her presentations on ancient Rome made it feel like you were there 2500 years ago. I was in awe of this city.

The place we stayed, Hotel Selene, had a great location, nice amenities and good breakfast.
